The Asheville Museum of History is a newly-renovated museum - from a historic house museum (the Smith-McDowell House) to a history museum. It tells the story of Asheville and Western North Carolina. The info they share is well-researched and they worked hard to include stories that cover a large time span and a range of people that have populated this region. They also share that their timeline is a work in progress and needs input from visitors, providing post-its for people to add a note or comment - well done! I liked what they've done but found it to be very word-intense, which may not suit all types of visitors.
