Quirky and Well-Done: The Kirkland Museum

Have you visited the Kirkland Museum of Fine and Decorative Arts in Denver, Colorado? They describe the way they display their art as "salon style," meaning the mix fine art (paintings and sculpture) with decorative arts (glass, silver, furniture).

Overall, it's a bit quirky but I enjoyed it. Excellent hospitality - friendly staff, lots of places to sit, and probably the cleanest museum I've ever been in! And, unlike so many museums, they had an orientation video to provide an overview to visitors. An excellent way to set the tone for the visit!
