You're very welcome, Lilly! Thanks for reading! I love your interest in the Arts & Crafts era. And, while some might consider William Morris cliché, there's a reason many of us love his work! And it's not just his work we admire but his philosophy and also his impact on other designers and craftspeople even to today. Thanks again!

I loved reading this! I knew of Voysey’s architectural work, but didn’t realize the breadth of his decorative designs—or his connection to Donegal Carpets. That blend of utility and whimsy you mention really speaks to me. I’m currently working on building a garden, and I’ve found myself drawn more and more to Arts & Crafts–era design for its reverence for nature and craftsmanship. It’s fascinating how these aesthetics echo through both interiors and landscapes.

One of my own favorites is William Morris—cliché, maybe, but his botanical prints feel endlessly inspiring. I’d love to see more of Voysey’s work in person someday. The V&A is on my dream list. Thank you for this lovely peek into your research and inspiration!
